Habitat:
Chilean deserts.
Description: a genus of globular plants, some of which may develop a
cylindrical stem and form clusters with age. The yellow or reddish yellow
bell-shaped flower arise from the woolly structure at the top.
Soil: basic mix.
Location: full sun or dappled light.
Temperature: minimum temperature between 5 and 7°C (41-45°F).
Water: average. During the summer watering should be meticulous,
especially with taprooted species. Keep dry in the winter.
Cultivation tips: they’re slow-growing desert plants that need
good ventilation during the summer.
Main species: C. cinerea, pale green slow-growing cactus that
tends to become columnar; it is not tolerant of high air humidity.
Ensure a minimum of 8-10°C (46-50°F).;
