Description: a creeping genus with large, white, nocturnal flowers. It is now part of Peniocereus.

Location: grow in dappled light.
Temperature: minimum temperature of 10°C (50°F).
Water: average.
Cultivation tips: propagation is from cuttings.
Main species: N. serpentinus, syn. Peniocereus s; N. hirschtianus, with fragrant flowers.
