Description: sprawling or creeping night-flowering plants with large, long-tubed blooms in the summer, followed by scaly fruits. They are now within the genus Eriocereus.
Soil: basic mix.
Location: place in full sun.
Temperature: minimum temperature of 6-8°C (43-46°F).
Water: average.
Cultivation tips: easy; propagation is from seed, cuttings or by removing offsets. These vigorous plants are suitable as rootstocks. Apply fertilizer once a year in the spring.
